I’m Marina, and I’m studying my HND in Business second year at LBBA. For me, LBBA is not just college, but also my second family.
Recent changes due to Covid 19 were worrying and stressful for everyone but not for even a second did I feel that LBBA would not cope or look after our safety , welfare, and education needs.
My trust in LBBA proved to be right everything worked out so well, the transformation to online was so well planned we did not even notice
The switch to online classes, handing in assignments and even offering support online was perfect.
Most importantly we were still able to speak to LBBA whenever needed of course we missed the social meetings and of course as LBBA is perfect and thinks of everything.
We even had online parties planned for us.
The Director Of Studies is amazing not only has a great soul, is fair and genuinely puts student’s needs as priority over all else. I want to thank all the special tutors for the knowledge they provide they are always ready for class, well prepared ,smiling and positive thus motivating us even more.
In these challenging times the whole of LBBA came together and as a family , we even had a slogan given by the Director Of Studies
“ We are in this together ” and we are.
I want to recommend LBBA with confidence if I were to choose once again where to study,
I would definitely come to LBBA and I do not regret it for a second.

As a former student and then later a student representative (LBBA), I feel honored that I had the chance to study, to re-create myself and to find a new family.
The day I arrived in 2013 I knew that LBBA will have a positive change on myself as a person and my life. I felt excited to be at LBBA, in those days I had a small part time job.
My best memory at LBBA …I remember approaching the Director of Studies on the third floor staircase first two weeks into the course, it was early days but felt I could ask her anything so I asked “what if due to the recent changes in the student funding rules my funding was not approved what should I do as I really want to study at LBBA “
The fact she did not know me, her words of support exchanged that day will remain special to me always as I felt trusted, motivated and encouraged to concentrate and just Study. That is LBBA!LBBA gave me the chance to see the world different; build my confidence and not to limit my career my thoughts. The sky is the limit is what we were taught, at the beginning of the course, hardly anyone asked questions but LBBA was again different and within a few weeks it changed, and even I was asking questions. After one year on the course I managed to get a job promotion. Today I am a director and have started my own payroll company and I know I have a lot more to do.
I know that I made the right choice choosing LBBA and I truly recommended it to anyone that is seeking for a place to learn, a place to develop and a place that will listen to your needs even your social needs.

My story began in January 2016 when I decided to enrol on a new journey! It all started as a challenge, with the need of doing something new, something different, the need of progression, personal development, achievements! Choosing to study at LBBA has been an easy task, as others talked about it and recommended it. Of course, I was about to have my personal experience!
The first point of contact-the administration team-they laid everything out, very organized, structured, logical. I not only had goal now, but also a plan! To make it possible, here comes in the picture, one by one, the lecturers, the subjects, the books, and materials etc, in other words, the tools required!
Skipping forwards through the time, with small steps at first, first term went by, first assignments, first emotions and nerves, first results were good results!
But that’s not what it is all about at LBBA! What makes LBBA stand up, what makes it the right choice, the right place is the learning environment and the learning experience! If you are looking for a traditional way of studying, the one that requires a lecturer and an auditorium, who does all talking and all the others listening, you should look somewhere else!
LBBA is about participating, having an active role, learning through discovery, asking and questioning, challenging and being challenged, communication, debating, freedom of speech! LBBA is not only about delivering knowledge, but most importantly, about developing skills, the know-how, preparing its students for the outside world, for the life after college! (Using some of what learnt at work supported me and recently I was promoted).
All this under the skillful leadership of the Director of Studies, the “engine” of this college, the driving force, so active, so energetic that is contagious! 7 months ago, I would have defined myself as a humanist, driven and passionate about literature, philosophy, history.
Others would rightly described me as a dreamer! Studying at LBBA opened up a new horizon, opened up the door to a more concrete reality, built up my confidence, gave me perspective and directions. Make no mistake, I have not achieved my goal yet (they still have lot of work to do on me), but I have made huge steps towards it, and the journey continues, the adventure is running its course, and I’m enjoying every single bit of it!

London Bridge Business Academy was the perfect place for me. Being a small college the lecturers and students are very supportive to each other, like one big family. It was nice environment, great to study in, professionalism is the key at LBBA. The tutors are industry experts with a high level of knowledge, very inspiring and they bring out the best in everyone.
I studied the Business Course and I can affirm it makes you a better professional and opens your mind to starting your own Business, Studying Marketing as a subject for example, allows you to thoroughly understand the business industry and transfer this knowledge directly into the workplace or to your own business one day.
Being part of LBBA was a learning experience and as a whole, made me build a strong base in the Business Environment and this has contributed in forming my career goals and future.
Now that i have successfully completed my Course the college is still in contact with me but that is true of LBBA from day one they were always in touch with all the students keeping us all involved and even today I feel I am still and will always remain a part of LBBA. Thanks very much.

I’m a person who likes challenges so I decided to study at a later stage of my life. I knew this would be difficult and finding the right college to help me was important,
LBBA was the one I knew after I researched. They gave me a great opportunity, they supported my needs and made me feel comfortable throughout from the start when I had the interview to the last day.
LBBA is placed in the heart of the town, it is known to welcome each student and provides each student a chance to belong to the LBBA family.
There are day or evening options and the evenings really suited me. In fact I will miss my trips to the college when I finish.
At the beginning of the course we were a group of confused people who were not quite sure what we were looking for.
During the years that we studied, we exchanged our experiences and learned together and we had fun but all this was due to the LBBA culture and the encouragement and equality.
Now when I look around in class I see a change all confident, brave personalities who are now ready to continue boldly in pursuit of their new found goals.
Thanks to all the management, lectures, staff for their help and the knowledge they gave us.

My first visit to LBBA was with a friend who was enrolling at LBBA. I observed while she submitted her application and how the staff responded throughout the process. They were honest, straight forward, informative and their personal approach really caught my attention.
I started thinking about the college I had applied to a few weeks ago. The experience here seemed more positive and personalized. I eagerly followed by inquiring with the staff if I too could submit an application as I already had applied elsewhere.
To my surprise I was discouraged and not allowed to I was asked to research on LBBA and think. When I went home I could not stop thinking of what had happened.
A week later I researched more on LBBA and visited the other college. I then returned to LBBA and said i had followed their advice with the comparison and still felt that LBBA was the best choice.
Today I am so glad as it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made, I am so happy to study at LBBA because what i had felt was right.
LBBA provides a caring environment, students are encouraged to learn, we feel welcomed and the lectures are very helpful, most importantly the Classes are interesting and never a dull moment.

The reasons I chose LBBA for my Higher education was for its location which was right in the heart of the city and within a few minutes walk from the Farringdon tube station.
Right from the interview till the end of the course I found the College and the staff to be friendly, helpful and professional.
Of course, I will miss everything about LBBA, the friendships I made through the social events and the interactive classes; i looked forward to attending classes every week, the holidays seemed boring and I would count days to when classes would resume.
Today having completed my studies I can say I gained the knowledge I was looking for, I am confident and looking for a potential career in Business.
This is thanks to the lecturers who used their personal approach and to whom every student mattered. Lecturers were experienced enough to understand the needs of the students and to deliver the class accordingly.
The classes were the right size and the students fun to be with. I was elected to be a student representative in 2015 and I really enjoyed this period.

Learning something new every time!
Having studied the Diploma in Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) with LBBA, I feel that I am grounded to continue further in achieving a Postgraduate level. LBBA helps in the process of reaching your potential in academic and career goals.
The staffs especially the lecturers are always giving constant support and keep a genuine interest in the achievements.

I chose LBBA for its convenient location and full-time programme for someone like me juggling studying with running a full-on family life.
LBBA were the only college I contacted which interacted with me and seemed to offer a personal service. They were the only ones who asked questions and made sure that the course that I embarked on was the right one for me.
I passed all three exams on the full-time professional postgraduate course by determination and with the help of some excellent lecturers. I’m doing my final module with LBBA and can recommend the experience.

LBBA has been a great experience for me. As an international student from Ghana, I chose LBBA from back home based on the information provided on the website however I was not sure what LBBA was about till I arrived here in London.
I feel there is a personal touch in the approach to teaching at LBBA, making you feel like a part of the establishment. The lectures are very informative, though jovial, are intense in preparing you for the exams. All in all, I believe I made the right choice in coming to LBBA.

When I arrived from India I had no idea about London or about the intensity of the course.
The course was difficult and a new experience for me altogether as I had not studied Marketing in so much depth before, but over time I have now begun to really enjoy Marketing and realise how its needed in every business, its so important to make a success of any business.
LBBA has played a big part in my pleasant experience of London and in my studies, this includes the supportive lecturers, the group of foreign students I study with and the excellent location LBBA is in right in the middle of the City,

Before I started studying the CIM certificate with LBBA, I knew nothing about marketing, but after a few months I feel like I’ve been studying it for years. I have learned a lot about marketing and the business environment as a whole.
I am having a wonderful experience in LBBA as far as studies is concern. LBBA has well experienced CIM teachers, who have one to one contact with students making sure that they understand personal academic and social issues and then work at solving them. I look forward to studying and finishing my CIM qualifications with LBBA. For me, I think LBBA is ideal for professional studies.

Going back to school is never any easy decision especially if you find yourself going to a foreign country after having completed a degree two years ago back home, I decided to take up the challenge and go abroad.
LBBA was one of the many places I applied to from Zimbabawe, they were the first ones to get back to me. They explained all I needed to know and answered all my queries honestly and effectively.
The transition back into the education system has been made easier by the friendly students and the lecturers who are experienced, patient and helpful. The classes are both challenging and stimulating and no question is left unanswered.
LBBA provides you with the necessary study ,support and tools needed to make it in to days competitive global market place.
The excellent location studying so near London Bridge adds to its many attributes. I will surely miss all this when i return home.

Whilst studying for my Degree my lecturers suggested i do the CIM on completion. Therefore i researched the various study options available for me certain things mattered and i found them at the London Bridge Business Academy

My honest opinion is that there is no better course than the one I have completed here with London Bridge Business Academy. It actually much better than what it sounds because when I took on the course which is Professional Certificate in Marketing, I did not have any experience or knowledge in marketing. having completed the course, I am quite happy with my chosen profession. I was very impressed with the quality of the course.
Above all, the lecturers and administrative staff were excellent adding that they carried out the courses in a systematic and organized manner. Everything was planned, structured with good lecture rooms.
